Great job to everyone today, it was a TOUGH day out there.  I want to see the results from the NBAA and see how they did out there.  I also want to commend everybody on their fish care.  Usually we see a few dead fish when we fish the river, but we only had one today.  That's not bad at all.  I was also ready to fizz fish after the weigh-in but only ended up fizzing three of them.  Thanks for taking care of your fish, and good job to you all.  It was not an easy day.

Great Job today Louie, a 19 lb sack is really something to be proud of.  As to Angler of the year well let’s wait until the end of the season, the way Scanlan is fishing this year he may just catch you.  Go get him Mike.

Great job Louie, you took us to school!!!  Dink, as far as AOY goes for me, there is only one plausible scenario:
First I would need to spend the next 2 weeks fishng for 4 and 5 pounders out of Pine Lake, until I had 5 for abot 23 lbs, and transfer these fish to my aquarium until the night before the tournament. Then, I would put the five lunkers on a stringer and attach them to a dock post on Wamplers.  Next, I would request to fish with Louie at Wamplers, and, just as we got to our first spot, I would inject him with a long-lasting sedative.  When he fell asleep I would proceed to my stringer and place it in the livewell, and spend the rest of the tournament monitoring Louie's vital signs and pretending that I was fishing.  Just before the wegh-in, I would give Louie a shot to wake him up, and tell him that he passed out, and that I am really glad that he's OK now.

Simple as that  Wink

Did anyone catch fish (or try to fish) in the river?  By looks of the weights I'd guess no.  Great bag Louie!  Not so bad for Scanlan either...which boater did he outfish from the back?

The top three came from the lake.  The river was definitely off.

I ‘d like to make everyone in our Club aware that Mr. King has broken a very long record of having the largest bag of fish weighed in during one of our Points Tournament.  The old record was held by me at 19 pounds 4 ounces from Pontiac Lake.  Mr. King’s bag weighted in at 19 pounds and 14 ounces during our recent St. Clair Points Tournament.  We all new someone was going to break this record from St. Clair and it has finally happened.  Great Job Louie and well done.
