We now have pricing on a new scoreboard made of a 4 x 5 non-magnetic white board with printing on one side.  We will present this pricing at the next meeting.  We also have a start on the stand as well.  We are trying to keep this project as cheap as possible but the cost are going to run somewhere around $ 500.00 when we are all done.  We will continue to explore less expensive alternatives prior to the next meeting.  If you have any ideas please don't hesitate to communicate them here. Thanks for all your support in this matter and see you all at the next meeting.

I'm thinking that this one might be alittle bit out of our price range.  I couldn't believe how much people want for a simple white board.  I sure would like someone else to print the lettering and lines instead of myself, I can't even draw a stright line with a ruler.  These boards are also very heavy as well.  You may have to carry it to and from the Tournaments since you are the strongest.

Ya, a bit much I think. As wierd as it sounds, I like the idea of using two of those foldable plastic/resin tables like we looked at at BPS last week. They're light, indestructable, and already hinged. Gotta ponder that some more. They're +-$40/each! Like the one attached. Remove the legs and we're good to go!

I have looked at some tables at Home Depot where they hinge in the middle for about $ 50.00 each.  We would still have to find some way to join them together because there isn't enough room on one table to keep score on.  Then we still have to get a stand made.  I have been emailing the fisher boys and kevin but I haven't gotten any word back from any of them.  I tried calling the Fisher's but their lines are no longer working and they haven't responded to any voice mails.  All I can do  now is just price out two or three alternatives and present them at the next meeting and let the Club decide.

We have decided on a new portable scoreboard that will be used at all the Club Tournament functions.  The size will be 35 3/2" x 48 1/2 ".  We will have printing on both sides, one side Portrait and the other Landscape.  In this way we can use the Portrait side because of the ability to have more than 48 names for the MBI if and when we have to run that Tournament again.  The names will like last year's attached via velcro on the Landscape side only.  We will leave the Portriat side blank for the names so we can write them in for the MBI and Team Tournaments.  The cost will run the Club approx. $ 50.00 for the board and $ 50.00 each side for the lettering.  We still have to put together a stand and I believe the Fisher brothers have that under control.  If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Just a update on the score board. The board itself is done. It came out pretty good. I'll be working on the name tags. Also will try to get a case made so we can it doesn't get scratch up.
